  • Most individual and couples therapy sessions last approximately 53–60 minutes.

  • Many clients begin with weekly sessions. As progress is made, some choose to meet every other week or less frequently. We'll work together to determine a schedule that fits your needs.

  • The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any relevant background information. You'll also have the chance to ask questions about my approach and decide whether working together feels like a good fit.

  • You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek counseling because they feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply want support navigating a difficult season of life. If you're wondering whether therapy could help, it's worth reaching out.

  • My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I strive to create a nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring difficult thoughts and emotions while also developing practical tools for lasting change.

  • Yes. Therapy is confidential, with a few legal and ethical exceptions. These exceptions generally involve situations where there is a serious risk of harm to yourself or others, suspected abuse or neglect of a child or vulnerable adult, or when disclosure is required by law or court order. I will discuss confidentiality and its limits during our first appointment.

  • Yes. As long as you are physically located in Michigan at the time of your appointment, we can meet through secure telehealth.

  • No. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and do not prescribe medication. If medication may be helpful, I can coordinate with or refer you to a physician or psychiatrist.
